Teaching

Dr. Davis takes a highly practical approach to course design, integrating more than 12 years of emergency department experience into the classroom. He emphasizes evidence-based practice, reinforcing didactic content with simulation, AI-enhanced learning tools, and current clinical technologies to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

Research

Dr. Davis has developed and implemented a dedicated curriculum designed to prepare nurse practitioners to meet the unique needs of older adults and LGBTQ populations. His research focuses on improving care delivery for these communities in both emergency department and primary care settings
