Jason Freiji serves as the School of Nursing’s Associate Dean of Finance and Chief Business Officer, where he leads the School’s financial strategy, administrative operations, and business planning. In this role, he is responsible for stewarding resources that advance the school’s academic, research, and operational priorities; strengthening fiscal sustainability; and partnering closely with faculty and senior leadership to support strategic growth.Jason brings broad experience in financial and operational leadership within complex academic health environments. His portfolio includes managing a $100 million operating budget, guiding a $27 million research enterprise, and collaborating closely on grant development, compliance, and long‑range planning. He has been at Emory University since 2017.
