About
Allison Leppke, DNP, MPH, FNP-C, DipACLM is originally from California. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal physiology at the University of California San Diego and went on to complete her Masters in Public Health at Emory Rollins School of Public Health. After working in public health, she recognized the value and having both public health and clinical training and returned to Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing for her Masters in Nursing and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She later completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Georgia State.
Allison has practiced in community and primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 10 years with a focus on disease prevention, health behaviors and wellness. She has been practicing at Emory Primary Care and teaching nurse practitioner students at Emory since 2017. In 2023 she completed her certification in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
As a clinical assistant professor at Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing she teaches primary in the FNP program where she has integrated Lifestyle Medicine in the curriculum. Her research focuses on integration of Lifestyle Medicine into healthcare professional training and into primary care practice.
