Pursuing a nursing education is one of the most important investments you will make in your lifetime. Our financial aid professionals will help you explore every option available to help you finance your education. The School of Nursing offers ample scholarship opportunities for top students.

We evaluate all admitted students for merit-based scholarships and financial aid. Below are some facts about our scholarships and financial aid packages:

  • Last year, the School of Nursing awarded $7.1 million in financial aid and scholarships to students.
  • More than 96% of undergraduate students received some form of financial aid.
  • Last year, the School of Nursing awarded 751 scholarships to students.

Please see the estimated tuition costs for the 2023-2024 academic year. These estimated amounts are for both undergraduate and graduate-level programs, including BSN, DABSN, MN Pathway to MSN, MN, and MSN, and DNP programs. Opportunities to defray the cost of attendance through scholarships and financial aid are available.

Each program at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing has different tuition structures and billing patterns. Figures shown are for approximation purposes and should not be used in program comparison.

Policy Statement on Refunds

Refunds for Emory University students who are federal (Title IV) aid recipients will be prorated in accordance with the Higher Education Amendments of 1992 and any related regulations.  Tuition adjustments for full withdrawals will follow the policies located here.

Traditional BSN: $29,960/semester ($2,497/hour)
Distance ABSN: $1,706/hour
MN Pathway to MSN: $24,198/semester ($2,017/hour)
Pre-licensure Master of Nursing $24,198/semester ($2,017/hour)
Master of Science in Nursing: $24,986/semester ($2,082/hour)
Post Masters Certificate: $1,970/hour*
Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP): $21,272/semester ($1,773/hour)
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: $25,662/semester ($2,138/hour)
Master in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science: $1,625/hour

*Program not available for federal student loans as it is a non-degree seeking program.
