Registration

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate Students

All undergraduate students will be able to self-register online in OPUS for nursing elective course work during their prescribed enrollment period.

The plan of study is designed so that students take nursing electives during their 3rd and 4th semesters, however you may take electives during any given semester.

Enrollment Limit Policy

Students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and above may register for up to 21 credit hours per semester, without additional approval.

Students with a cumulative GPA below 3.0 must seek permission from your program director to enroll in more than 18 credit hours.

See academic calendar for registration dates.

You may verify your total hours earned and cumulative GPA by reviewing your unofficial transcript. You may review your unofficial transcript via OPUS by selecting "My Academics" > "View my unofficial transcript".

Graduate and DNP Students

First semester registration is processed by the School of Nursing Registrar. All graduate and DNP students are eligible for self-registration online in OPUS beginning in their second semester.

Variable Credit Courses

For variable credit courses you must enter the correct # of hours, otherwise the system will post for the minimum credits.  See your program Plan of Study or contact your Specialty Coordinator.

Credit hours can be adjusted in OPUS, please refer to editing classes on page 14-15 in the self-registration guide.

PhD Students

Registration for PhD students is processed by the PhD Program Coordinator.

FAQ

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
