Sharlene is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience spanning various facets of women's health, particularly in Maternal services including Antepartum, High-risk Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum care. She finds profound fulfillment in serving this population, driven by her ability to forge connections and impart knowledge.

Throughout her distinguished nursing career, she has exhibited a steadfast commitment to advocacy, particularly for students entering the field. Her contributions include the establishment of Dedicated Education Units within maternity services, aimed at fostering a supportive learning environment. Additionally, she has been a vocal champion for nursing students, advocating for their needs and advancement within the profession.

Her educational journey commenced at Vanier College in Montreal, Canada, where she earned her Associate degree. She furthered her studies at Ottawa University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following a period of enriching experience as a travel nurse, she pursued higher education, earning a Master's Degree from Georgia State University.
