Bio
Michael Garbett is clinical faculty at Emory University with a background in critical care nursing and a master’s degree in nursing education. Drawing on years of bedside experience in the ICU, Michael brings a practical, patient-centered lens to clinical instruction and curriculum design.
His professional focus includes clinical education, simulation-based learning, and the development of high-fidelity training scenarios that support critical thinking and safe practice. He has authored peer-reviewed work in the areas of simulation design and clinical evaluation.
Michael is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that bridge the gap between theory and practice, and he plays an active role in shaping the next generation of nurses through both classroom and clinical mentorship
