Margie Hutson

Margie Hutson is the Administrative Manager for the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining the Dean’s calendar, his engagements and travel, the management of documents requiring approval and dissemination, and requests for financial support and sponsorship of conferences. She is also a planning leader for special events and projects, and she recently developed and is presenting a six-part administrative professional development series for the school's support personnel entitled “Goals and Growth - How to Advance My Career from an Administrative/Support Role.”

She has 30+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives of both private companies and public corporations. She earned her Six Sigma Certification and is a certified Project Management Professional.

She serves on the Leadership Council and Dean’s Educational Advisory Council and is a staff leadership member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.
