Registration is required for you and your guests for the May 8th events. You will receive an email from “Marching Order” with details on ordering tickets and guest information. If you don’t receive this email by February 27th, please contact us via email at songraduation@emory.edu.

One advantage of using the Marching Order system is the ability to track registration numbers. Should a decision be made to release extra spots, we will notify you and allow for additional guests to be added. Any available extra tickets will not be released until after the established registration deadline (TBD). As much as we'd like to provide as many spaces as possible for family and friends, there is simply a limit on space. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Yes. Photographers will be on hand to take photos. Those photos will be posted on the school's website after the event.

Graduation photos will be available for download here shortly after the ceremonies.

Yes, all events will be live streamed via the School of Nursing YouTube channel. The link will be posted here a few days before the ceremony.

• Heavy traffic and delays in and around campus are expected.
• Parking: School of Nursing graduates and guests are asked to park at the Michael Street Parking Deck. All gates for all campus parking locations will be raised throughout commencement weekend. On Monday, May 8^th, parking decks typically open at 6:30 a.m. to all even attendees
• Shuttle service on Monday begins at 6:30 a.m. and will run on a continuous loop until 5:30 p.m.

The regalia ordering website is now open! Emory Barnes and Noble Bookstore is also selling Bachelors/Masters/MD in-store.

The Bookstore Grad Fair will be tentatively held on Friday, February 24.

There are many hotels near Emory's campus. The nearest hotel is the Emory Conference Center Hotel. For a complete guide to planning your visit to Emory, please visit the University's commencement website. The commencement website has information regarding the annual May commencement ceremonies. However, the information under the restaurants, safety, and Emory area hotels dropdowns is relevant for our December events and will help you plan your stay.

Graduates that have guests and family members with special mobility needs are encouraged to have them take advantage of the shuttle transportation from the Michael Street parking deck to the central campus. The shuttle buses are scheduled to drop off guests a short distance from the Emory Student Center. A campus/parking map will be forthcoming.

Yes, there will be a reception following the SON ceremony. Graduates and their guests are invited to attend.

The reception will be held at the Emory School of Nursing on the grassy courtyard on the plaza level.

All graduates are expected to wear full regalia (cap and gown) for the ceremony on May 8. You are urged to dress comfortably, business casual, underneath your gown. As the weather in May is often unpredictable, please plan accordingly should the temperature be especially warm.
