Access drives from home

How to access the S: and T: drives from home with Windows computers

Instructions Recently Updated (05/11/17)

Prerequisites

1. You must connect to Virtual Private Networking (VPN) so that your computer can access the Emory network. In Internet Explorer (recommended) or Firefox go to http://vpn.emory.edu. Login using your University credentials (i.e. the same username & password as for Emory email).
2. When the connection to VPN is completed the window will minimize.
3. Alternatively, some Emory-owned computers may have the full client installed. Click on the Start button and type 'F5' to see if the 'Big-IP Edge Client' is found. If it is present, you may run this full client instead of logging in through a web browser. On work computers, this full client will automatically log you in to the VPN and you won't have to manually enter username & password.

Note that VPN does not work in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browsers.
