As a member of the Emory Veterans Affairs Nursing Academic Partnership – Graduate Education faculty team Eve is working to fully integrated behavioral health and primary care in advanced practice nursing education and faculty practice.  Eve is also leading collaborative efforts between the Georgia Division of Aging, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health, Fuqua Center for Late –Life Depression and the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing (NHWSON) to increase the state of Georgia’s capacity to care for the growing population of older adults with behavioral health disorders.  

Alexandra FinchAlexandra Finch MSN, RN, CEN-BC is a practicing clinical instructor and nurse educator at the Emory Nell Woodruff Hodgson School of Nursing. She currently serves on the partnership committee at the SON and the coordinator for the DEU program.  She also serves as the liaison between Wellstar Health System and the Emory School of Nursing in placement of graduate advanced practice students.  

Throughout her career, Ms. Finch has been a strong advocate and leader in student and new graduate nurse issues at the state and local levels.  She is a member of the Emergency Nurse’s Association (ENA) and Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Epsilon Chapter. Ms. Finch has a clinical background in emergency, medical surgical, neuroscience and interventional radiology nursing with current certifications in medical-surgical and emergency nursing.  Her clinical interests include nursing workplace issues, nursing education, high fidelity simulation, curriculum development and transition of graduate nurses into the workforce.

Antonina FosterAntonina Foster, BSN, MSN/MPH, Clinical Supervisor and Research Nurse Practitioner for Emory University School of Medicine Department of Infectious Disease

DNP project interests include the evaluation of evidence-based tools that focus on HIV prevention with positives and adapting them for use by clinicians during clinical visits. This will involve piloting the modified tool with patients and also assessing the current prevention education practices of clinicians that care for people living with HIV. Other interests include STI/HIV prevention in minority women and decreasing the health disparities that exist in the availability of reproductive and sexual health services. 

Justin GianninyJustin Gianniny, MSN, CRNA, Interim Director of Emory University’s DNP Nurse Anesthesia program, CEO of JJG Anesthesia – anesthesia providers & consultants, and a practicing CRNA.  

DNP Project interests include addressing the missed opportunities for nurse anesthesia education in Georgia.  Other interests include CRNA education and the business of anesthesia.

Kristen LangdonKristan Langdon, BSN, MSN

Kristan has worked in Cardiology, Primary Care, and Women’s Health. Currently she works at Emory Department of Cardiology in both outpatient General Cardiology, and with the Emory Women’s Heart Center. Kristan has a special interest in preventive care, particularly in the area of women and heart disease.

Karen LindsleyKaren Lindsley, RN, MSN 

Clinical Supervisor and masters prepared research nurse with Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes. Karen maintains certifications as a Diabetes Educator (CDE), clinical research coordinator (CCRC) and an actively practicing RN. She is passionate about improving the quality of care and daily life of those living with chronic disease through education, outreach and research discovery.

Tammy MattimoeTammera Mattimoe, BSN, MSN 

Maj. Tammera Mattimoe is currently on active duty military service holding a position with the Defense Health Agency in Falls Church Virginia, and is also attending Emory as a doctoral student.  Maj. Mattimoe has held a position as a women’s health Nurse practitioner for approximately 9 years while on active duty, before taking her current assignment as a nurse informaticist. 

Sonya McLaughlinSonya McLaughlin, MSN, CCRN, NNP-BC 

Sonya is currently practicing as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Emory University and rotates through three NICU units in the Atlanta metropolitan area.  Her DNP project interests include neonatal palliative care and bereavement and addressing barriers to providing adequate care at end-of-life.  Other interests include the influence of kangaroo care on patient outcomes and oral colostrum provision in neonates.

Susan SwansonSusan Swanson, MSN 

Susan L. Swanson MS, CEO Rad-E-Us Consulting LLC- provides healthcare, radiation oncology, radiation medicine, medical device company, and strategic operations consulting. Susan has held senior executive positions and executed entrepreneurial ventures in acute, ambulatory and practice group settings. DNP project interests include leadership, nurses on boards, global partnerships, patient safety, technology and optimizing team performance and resource deployment in radiation oncology/cancer hospitals nationally and in under-resourced countries.

Olga TurnerOlga Turner, BSN, MSN Hunter College, City University of New York, with my MSN as an adult medical-surgical clinical nurse specialist.  Olga’s specialty area is critical care nursing.  She has been a clinical instructor and assistant faculty since 2006, and joined Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in 2009.  At Emory University Olga teaches in the undergraduate nursing program, in both classroom, skills lab and clinical.  Her main area of interest is in the critical care area and improving the quality of care at the bedside.
