Research and Centers

Faculty and students in the School of Nursing are engaged in research addressing a variety of contemporary clinical and health policy questions. Interdisciplinary research teams are focusing on developing knowledge that will under gird nursing practice, health care innovations and policy change. Pertinent areas of inquiry include symptoms and symptom interactions in acute and chronic illness, approaches to improving health outcomes, self management, and family caregiving in acute and chronically ill populations and across the life span.
