General Information
The Evans Center for Caring Skills consists of rooms P16 (Science Lab), P20 (5 Patient bed areas), P28 (8 Patient bed areas), 3 Treatment Rooms and P30 (the simulation room). Any or all of the rooms can be booked with permission.
Due to the increased demand for the simulation area, we are currently requesting faculty to submit a Supply Request Form so that we can accommodate your needs more efficiently. Please note that supply requests fro classes must be submitted 3 days prior to the actual class date.
Classrooms must be left in "ready to use " condition immediately following the event.
- All trash should be in receptacles.
- White boards should be clean.
- Tables and chairs should be put back in original locations.
- Lights should be turned off.
- All Simulation Equipment turned Off
- Simulator link box
- Monitors
- Speakers
- Oxygen/Air
- Computers
- Data Projector
- DVD Recorder
During and After the Event
Your on-site person for the event is responsible for:
- Safeguarding the integrity of all equipment, furniture and accessories while using the room(s);
- Seeing that the event concludes at the time specified on the RRRF;
- Clearing rooms and tables of any materials including food/beverage items after completion of the event;
- Putting trash in the appropriate receptacles; and
- Ensuring that the room(s) and surrounding public spaces are back to their original condition.
Failure to comply will result in the sponsoring department/organization being billed the cost for this restoration.
