2008 Symptoms Center Research Symposium
Call for Poster Session Abstracts
Description
The poster session is designed to provide an informal forum for faculty, students, and clinicians to present their research and evidence based practice projects related to symptoms (symptom experience, symptom management, or symptom interactions and health outcomes). Posters will serve as networking “ice breakers” for discussion among participants.
Eligible Presenters
Current students and recent graduates (undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD), faculty in nursing and other health sciences, and nurses from across the Emory Healthcare system
Abstract Format
Submit an abstract (brief description) of a completed or “in progress” research or evidence based practice project. Posters describing research questions, frameworks, and intended methods are also appropriate. All abstracts/posters must be related to symptoms. Abstracts should include the title of the project in all capital letters and the second line should begin with the author(s) and institution(s). The abstract should be no more than 300 words, using a legible font size (no smaller than 10). Also include a cover sheet with corresponding author’s name and contact information along with the abstract title. Prepare the abstract and cover sheet using Word and send by mail or as an email attachment.
