Policies and Procedures

The LRC provides learning resources and computer services for NHWSN students, faculty and staff.

We are not experts in all the software on our computers. We can make sure it works, but for answering questions relating to use, it is better to ask someone who uses it on a regular basis. 

We can not give you software to install locally on your office computer, laptop, or home computer. This is illegal. 

To help protect computer and media equipment, your cooperation is appreciated by not eating or drinking in the LRC.

The transfer of copyrighted or protected software is in violation of U.S. copyright laws. The use of LRC resources is prohibited for such purposes.

Broken or malfunctioning hardware or software should be reported to the consultant on duty.

Users are requested to return checked-out software to the consultant on duty and users are requested to clean the work station for the next person before leaving the Center.

Students are charged $0.07 per page to print to the laser printer.

To respect student's study time, there is no talking on cellular phones allowed in the LRC.
