When you setup a new Windows computer at home Windows asks for a password for the account called Administrator. It then asks you to create other accounts but it doesn't ask you to put in passwords for them. These accounts have administrative rights but no passwords. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE! A computer with no password can be hacked in no time at all.
1. Go to Start, Control Panel. Open user Accounts in Control Panel.
2. Click on your user name.
3. Click Create a password.
4. In Type a new password and Type the new password again to confirm, type in your new password.
5. Click Create Password.
