Media Services and Resources
Many other media departments on the Emory campus are
available to help Nursing Faculty. The following is a
list of these departments and organizations.
Learning Resources Center
at Emory University Hospital

The Learning Resource Center includes a non-print
media library the closed-circuit television system
for the hospital and two Picture-Tel teleconferencing
rooms.
Candler School of Theology Media Center

The Media Center supports the Theology School and
also supplies audio-visual support for the Cox Hall
Ballroom and classrooms. They specialize in audio
dubbing, location audio and video recording
Multimedia Communications

Multimedia Communications is a unit of the
Information Technology Division. They support the
School of Arts and Sciences, The School of Business
and the Graduate School by supplying classroom a-v
support, limited media production and equipment
rental. They now have a new multimedia production
center that is open to serve both faculty and staff
and includes a state-of-the-art distance learning
room. They are located in the Woodruff Library.
Bio-Medical Media

This unit of the Medical School includes: medical
photography, color slide and black and white film
processing, graphics arts, layout, design,
typesetting, medical illustration, computer generated
slides, overheads, and posters. Bio-Medical Media
processes all of our slides and offers a regular
2-hour turn-around on E-6 processing.
Emory Medical Television

Also part of Bio-Medial Media. They offer:
state-of-the-art Betacam production services with
traditional linear and non-linear digital video
editing facilities.
Emory Printing Services

The main campus Printing office is located in the
Materials Center. They have a photocopy office in the
Woodruff Health Sciences Admin. Building that can
handle all types of photocopy and document work,
overhead transparencies, color copies, enlargement
and reduction, collating, binding.
