Emory Nursing Student

    The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is recognized as a leader in the preparation of nurses for beginning and advanced practice. Graduates of the programs are at the forefront in leadership, serving as role models for excellence in nursing practice through out the world. The School of Nursing is especially committed to evolving nursing practice through scholarship, leadership and social responsibility.



Linda A. McCauley, PhD, RN, FAAN, began her tenure as Dean of the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing on May 1, 2009.

Students from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing spent Spring Break 2009 providing clinical care to residents on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas.  Their trip was part of the school's service learning initiative, which places nursing students in clinical care settings locally, nationally and around the globe. Spotlight on: Fuld Fellowships

The Fuld Fellowship: The Fuld Fellowship Program accepts students with degrees in fields other than nursing who are committed to serving vulnerable populations.  This program includes special seminars and other learning and volunteer experiences that are designed to prepare leaders who will advance health within the context of society.
