Instructor
Openings at the Instructor level are infrequent; however, CV’s and supporting documents are evaluated on a rolling basis by a committee of reviewers and noted for future needs. Applicants will receive a letter confirming receipt of their CV in approximately 10 business days from delivery. Although the length of the review time will vary, applicants will be notified in writing regarding the results of the review. Applicant information is kept on file for two years and updated information is welcome.
Positions may be available on a semester or academic year contractual basis and may be full time or part time. This faculty role is to specifically teach the clinical component of the curriculum or serve as clinical advisor to students. RN Applicants are required to hold a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing, have experience as a skilled practitioner, possess teaching experience and an active license to practice nursing in the State of Georgia upon the date of hire. Advanced Practice Nurses will also need professional credentialing and appropriate licensure in accordance with the rules of the Georgia Board of Nursing upon the date of hire. Coursework in nursing education is strongly preferred.
