Advanced Degree Programs Offered
The School of Nursing offers several degree options
for practicing Registered Nurses interested in advancing
their education. All programs can be pursued full-time
or part-time.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
The MSN program is designed for BSN prepared
nurses and requires usually three or four semesters of
full-time study. Faculty advisers assist students in
planning individual programs of study.
RN-MSN
The RN-MSN track provides an opportunity for
associate degree and diploma prepared nurses to obtain
the MSN at an accelerated pace. Students accepted to
this track complete 24 semester hours of course work
prior to beginning the Master’s level specialty
curriculum.
MSN-MPH
The MSN-MPH is a dual degree program between
the School of Nursing and the Rollins School of Public
Health allowing its students to graduate with both a
Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public
Health.
