Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care program offers one clinical specialty track which includes primary care for children with acute and chronic illnesses. Graduates of this clinical specialty are prepared to meet the comprehensive healthcare needs of infants, children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of settings.
Graduates are required to complete 500 hours of directly supervised PNP clinical practice. The 40 hour graduate program can be completed in one calendar year of full-time study or may be pursued part-time. The RN-MSN program and MSN-MPH dual degree program are options available to students.
