International Health (MSN-MPH) Overview

Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing , in partnership with the Rollins School of Public Health, offers an innovative program leading to dual Master's degrees in International Health, the International MSN-MPH. This program aims to prepare leaders in international nursing and public health, granting dual degrees in Nursing (MSN) and Public Health (MPH). The program . . . <Program of Study>
 
 Clinical Sites Unique Highlights . . .

  Because The Lillian Carter Center is the secretariat for Chief Nursing Officers of countries in the global community, our students have the opportunity to connect with numerous countries.

Through MEDICC (Medical Education in Cooperation with Cuba), students have the opportunity to study the health system in Cuba.

Stateside, working with international clients through our Farmworker Family Health Program.

Exchange programs with Yonsei University in Korea and University of Alberta in Edmonton and Kenya for an assessment of its nursing education through a CDC grant.
 
  • Based in The Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing--a center committed to enhancing the impact of nursing globally
  • Provides an opportunity to work with international scholars in the School of Nursing and the School of Public Health in their quest to strengthen national and institutional capacities for nursing and health policy.
  • The Atlanta area is rich in international resources. The program takes advantage of the CDC, Taskforce for Child Survival, CARE, CNN, The Carter Center, and the American Cancer Society through guest speakers, field trips and internships.
  • Will prepare you for leadership positions in both governmental, non-governmental and faith based organizations.
  • RN-MSN option available
