The Fuld Leadership Program
Fuld Fellowships
Expectations
Recipients of the Fuld Fellowship are expected to :
- Spend additional time on Fuld Fellowship interdisciplinary
seminars and activates;
- Remain committed to leadership activities related to social
responsibility;
- Take leadership in School of Nursing Activities;
- Share their experiences with others in the school;
- Complete a Master's of Science in Nursing at Emory University;
- Demonstrate to the profession and the broader public a fine
example of nursing leadership and engagement in social responsible
nursing efforts.
The Fuld Fellows demonstrate their leadership by:
- Holding office in organizations such as Emory Student Nurses Association (ESNA)
and Emory International Student Nurses Association (EISNA), HealthSTAT, etc.
- Volunteering with organizations such as Cafe 458, Joe's
Place, Task force for the Homeless, the Community of Hospitality,
MedShare International, and other agencies working with underserved populations
- Participate in the
Migrant Farm Worker Health Project
Korean Nursing Student Exchange Program
Caribbean Health Care Study Trips
- Participating in Emory University campus life and the wider community
- Meeting with Emory University leaders and
visiting to the Carter Center and the Ethics Center, etc.
