A statement on leadership in social responsibility

Leadership in social responsibility in nursing is a commitment to enhance the health of all by decreasing health disparities of underserved populations and focusing on health promotion, disease prevention and primary care; and acting to change structures that impact health in the broadest sense (i.e. health care access, housing, hunger, education, human rights, environmental issues..)
