NRSG 593 R- International Health Care System: Exchange Study

(1 credit hour, international nursing)

Emory junior nursing students have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with nursing students from Yonsei University located in Seoul, South Korea.

This program encourages students to examine nursing in a variety of international healthcare settings and institutions.  It also aims to heighten cultural sensitivity when working with diverse cultures as nurses in the United States.

During the exchange, Emory students will spend over two weeks learning about healthcare in South Korea, interacting with faculty and students from Yonsei University, and exploring Seoul.

The program is limited to 2-3 Emory students and the trip to South Korea will be scheduled for late May through early June.  For more information on the program, please contact the LCCIN.
