Global Government Health Partners Leadership Forum 2006

 

 

 

Ongoing Projects

Regional Nursing Body
: The Regional Nursing Body is an organization of Chief Nursing Officers, which is administratively attached to the Health Section within the Caribbean Community Secretariat (CARICOM).

Kenya Workforce Project:
Pamela McQuide has secured a grant from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention to study the nursing/midwifery workforce in Kenya.  The study plans to provide data to increase the effectiveness of nursing education in the country.

International Student Exchanges: The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing participates in student exchanges each Spring with Yonsei University in South Korea and the University of Alberta in Canada.

The International Network of Nurses: "TINN" works to increases the role of nurses in preventing and treating the health and social problems caused by destructive substance misuse via visibility and education of addictions at the international level. 

 

MSN/MPH Dual Degree Graduate Program: the Emory University School of Nursing and the Rollins School of Public Health have combined efforts to provide nurses with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in community/public health as well as clinical nursing.
