Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing

The Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing (LCCIN), named after President Carter's mother, has as its mission the improvement of the health of vulnerable people worldwide through nursing education, research, practice, and policy. The LCCIN focuses on enhancing the impact of nursing globally through targeted international academic exchanges, partnerships fostering scholarship, creation of a forum for exploration of issues relating to the global supply, demand, distribution, and quality of the nursing workforce worldwide, and through increasing access to relevant training and education.

Join us for a tribute to nursing worldwide with a visit to the exhibition of photographs from the book "Nurse: A World of Care", located at The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.
