About

Dr. Sudeshna Paul is a statistician and an Associate Professor, research track, in the Office of Nursing Research, School of Nursing at Emory University. She collaborates with researchers within and outside the School of Nursing on several NIH funded studies. Dr. Paul is experienced in modeling of social-, longitudinal- and spatially correlated outcomes, health services research methods and intervention studies. In particular, she is developing and implementing models to study biological and behavioral dynamics of multidimensional symptom trajectories and their influence on disease outcomes in different chronic illnesses.

Dr. Paul earned her PhD in Statistics from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and completed her postdoctoral training in the department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School before joining the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University in 2013.
