ANCC Accredited LogoThe Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) was developed in 2015 in partnership between Emory Healthcare Nursing Education and the Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing to provide quality, continuing nursing education (CNE) activities that meet learner needs in the dynamic healthcare environment. In addition to providing our continuing education offerings, our nurse planners will work collaboratively with your staff  to plan, develop, and evaluate continuing education offerings and provide contact hours.

The Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation

about the ENPDC

To become a nurse planner individuals may attend the ENPDC 2-hour workshop in person or online. Learn about:

  • Nurse planner responsibilities
  • Strategies for evaluation of activity outcomes
  • Introduction to ENPDC forms
  • Conflict of interest training including identification and resolution strategies
Become a Nurse Planner

Partner with Nurse Planner to develop quality continuing nursing education (CNE) activities and ensure adhere with American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation guidelines. 

Contact hours can be provided for the following CNE activities:

  • Conferences
  • Workshops
  • Nursing Rounds
  • Single or Repeated Activities

Current CNE Activites
Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education Program
This program provides 285-contact hours through online didactic content and clinical components and prepares the post-baccalaureate prepared registered nurse for the tri-specialty Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) nursing certification examinations. This program is accredited by Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN®).

Foot and Nail Care
This program provides 36-contact hours through online didactic content. Participants have opt to spend up to 9-clinical hours in a precepted experience. Participants who choose to do clinical will be awarded additional contact hours. Completion of this CNE activity can be used towards certification requirements for the Certified Foot Care Nurse (CFCN®).
